4.
lately /
recently

5.
像 "When...?"
"When...?"
(1)
A:
When
have they arrived? (×)
did they arrive? (○)
B:
Yesterday.
(2)
A:
When
have you seen (×)
her?
did you see (○)
B:
A few days ago.
When have I said this? — No, never.
No, never (= I have never said this)。"When?"
(1)
Two prisoners have escaped. They used
a ladder which had been left behind by some workmen, climbed a
twenty-foot wall and got away in a stolen car.
(2)
His failure to receive a prize for his work
was a great blow to his pride.
(3)
Did you have breakfast at the hotel?
(1)
A:
Have you had
breakfast?
B:
Yes, I have.
or:
Yes, I had it at half past seven.
or:
Yes, I had it with Sunny.
(2)
A:
Have you seen my watch?
B:
Yes, I saw it on your desk a minute ago.
(3)
A:
Where have you been?
B:
I've been to the movies.
A:
What did you see (or What
was the movie)?
B:
The Little Women.
A:
Did you enjoy it?
B:
Yes, I enjoyed it very much.
(4)
A:
Has your brother returned from Taipei?
B:
He returned last Sunday, but he is not at home
now. (= Yes, he has returned from Taipei, and that last Sunday, but he is not at home now.)
have gone 和 have been 有何不同?
have gone是
"
is / are not here now (不在這裡)"; have been
(1)
a.
He has gone to Hongkong.
(He's not here now.)";如果他原來人在上海,這句話就表示
(He's not in Shanghai now.)"。 |
b. |
He has been to Hongkong.
(He's not in Hongkong now.),可能又回到了原地,也可能轉往他處。 |
(2) |
A: |
Where have you been?
B: |
I've been to see my girl friend.
(3) |
Have you been to Taipei before?
不 |
能 |
問: |
Have you gone to Taipei before. (×) |
have gone,只可用 have been。
(4) |
A: |
Have you gone to America?
(= Are you not here
now?) (×)
B: |
Yes, I have gone there.
(= I am not here
now.) (×) |
(5) |
Where have you gone?
(= Where are you now?) (×)
(6) |
A: |
Have you been to America?
B: |
Yes, I have been there.
A: |
Have you ever been to America?
B: |
Yes, I've been there once.
(7) |
Where have you been?
(a) |
(1) |
I had gone to Taichung when they
called. (= I was not here when they called.)
本句的 had gone (= was not here) 是我現在說我過去不在這裡。 |
(2) |
When you have gone to America, you will know that the moon there is not rounder than it is in
China. (=When you are in America, you...)
本句裡的 have gone 是代替 will have gone,指未來
(參閱 p.555-4) |
(b) |
與 have been
(1) |
A: |
Has he gone to America?
(= Is he now in America or on the way to America?)
B: |
No, he has gone to Japan. (= He is now in Japan or on the way to Japan.)
(2) |
A: |
Has he (ever) been to America?
B: |
Yes, he has been there two or three times.
(c) |
"have been here / there+若干時間"
裡的
have been 是 "在、停留"
